I see βliveβ but on Friday at launch time Gerry brought a bottle of βOlivioβ out of the cupboard and asked if the new course was about this brand of olive oil. I told him not to be so annoying π
Katie ,your substack andd writing and point of view about life and drawing and live illustration and olives from Aldi are so much fun. Love it. Please, keep writing , drawing and make your family have happy dances and your readers laugh out loud in their homes ,inmidst the daily hustle of life.
I really can't decide whether the live illustration is my cup of tea or not. What should I google to find a talk similar to what you usually get as a job, to try and draw it and see if I feel comfortable or not? "Very boring meeting" or "Corporate blah blah" is not going to give me the right results and I'm a bit lost. π Thank you!
Not at all The Olive illustration - not with these colours! (Only if it's about the olives from Neptune).
Perhaps the fact that "The" is in the same colour as the first circled symbol makes some people think that this circle is also to be read as the letter "O"?
You could just keep the symbols, the star and the pencil, and delete the circles, or swap the places of the pencil and the star (hoping not to get The i-Live with it.)
Iβve worked as a project lead for arranging kick offs for a corporate brand. My intention is to be working as an full time illustrator in a couple of years.

Any olives - as long as they are pitted - who whatβs to see a little pile of chewed olive pips at the side of a plate?! π©
O Love this! πβΊοΈ(sorry couldnβt resist)
But not a fan of actual olives β¦ so Iβm relieved we wonβt be forced to eat them or walk the plank!
Looking forward to the course and enjoyed your brilliant masterclass βΊοΈ
Love Olives! Excited to start on Monday!
Green olives stuffed with garlic for me! π« Aaand sliced black olives on pizza or in pasta. Yummmm.
I read live, definitely only the teeniest problem, which can wait for another day! Very much looking forward to the course!
Hahahaha! Green olives for me, preferably depitted and/or stuffed. The occasional black olive.
I love that it's like one of those fun "Alligator food" tricks! π
Haha! I have never, ever, not once read it as Olive - but now I see it! Ooooh, partners can be annoying sometimes!
My cat is called Olive and she features in quite a few of my illustrations, so we're both extra-excited about the course now!
I'm sharing a link to an image in case it works. https://substack.com/@thegleefuldabbler/note/c-110894929
I also read it as Olive! But didnβt want to be *that* person π Love mixed olives, and even crush them up as a tapenadeβ¦ fancy βΊοΈ
For the record, I read it a 'LIVE' βΊοΈ (though I think olives are delicious too! π«)
