I see β€˜live’ but on Friday at launch time Gerry brought a bottle of β€˜Olivio’ out of the cupboard and asked if the new course was about this brand of olive oil. I told him not to be so annoying πŸ™„

Katie ,your substack andd writing and point of view about life and drawing and live illustration and olives from Aldi are so much fun. Love it. Please, keep writing , drawing and make your family have happy dances and your readers laugh out loud in their homes ,inmidst the daily hustle of life.

Any olives - as long as they are pitted - who what’s to see a little pile of chewed olive pips at the side of a plate?! 😩

O Love this! πŸ™ˆβ˜ΊοΈ(sorry couldn’t resist)

But not a fan of actual olives … so I’m relieved we won’t be forced to eat them or walk the plank!

Looking forward to the course and enjoyed your brilliant masterclass ☺️

My cat is called Olive and she features in quite a few of my illustrations, so we're both extra-excited about the course now!

I'm sharing a link to an image in case it works. https://substack.com/@thegleefuldabbler/note/c-110894929

I also read it as Olive! But didn’t want to be *that* person πŸ˜‚ Love mixed olives, and even crush them up as a tapenade… fancy ☺️

For the record, I read it a 'LIVE' ☺️ (though I think olives are delicious too! πŸ«’)

I really can't decide whether the live illustration is my cup of tea or not. What should I google to find a talk similar to what you usually get as a job, to try and draw it and see if I feel comfortable or not? "Very boring meeting" or "Corporate blah blah" is not going to give me the right results and I'm a bit lost. πŸ™ˆ Thank you!

Not at all The Olive illustration - not with these colours! (Only if it's about the olives from Neptune).

Perhaps the fact that "The" is in the same colour as the first circled symbol makes some people think that this circle is also to be read as the letter "O"?

You could just keep the symbols, the star and the pencil, and delete the circles, or swap the places of the pencil and the star (hoping not to get The i-Live with it.)

Olive Taggiasche for me!
